Submitting Material to the Website
We will be absolutely delighted to receive any photographs (of men of the Yorkshire Regiment, War Memorials, War Graves etc.). However, we would be very grateful if you could follow the guidelines below when submitting material.
| Text | Please submit any text in the form of MS Word (*.DOC), Rich Text Format (*.RTF), or TEXT (*.TXT) files. |
| Images | Please submit any images as *.JPG files. Ideally, image files should be between 600 x 450 x 72 dpi (minimum) and 1024 x 768 x 72 dpi (maximum) Although we can receive larger sized image files, it is ESSENTIAL that you contact us before sending them. |
| File attachments | If your file sizes are much greater than, say, 2 Mb then
we would appreciate that you let us know BEFOREHAND that you
are intending to send them as attachments. Even in this day and age of broadband access, some e-mail providers restrict the maximum file size allowed in an an-box! |
We will credit all submissions to the authors who provide the photos, text etc. However, please be aware that the copyright of this material then becomes the property of this website.
