The War Memorial for Preston-on-Tees.

The War Memorial for Preston-on-Tees is situated in a fenced-off
enclosure on Victoria Road, Eaglescliffe. The road itself is a very short
section of road between Albert Road and the A135 Yarm Road in Eaglescliffe,
Stockton-on-Tees.
The memorial is in the form of a simple cross mounted on a square base. Although
the dedication of the memorial is on the front face of this base, the cross
itself is at right angles to the dedication.
The Commemorations for both the First and Second World Wars are on the two
faces on either side of the dedication. At the rear is a simple verse as part
of the dedication.
38 names are commemorated of men who lost their lives in the
First World War, and 20 for men who lost their lives in the Second World War.
