The First World War Memorial in St. Andrew's Church, Wiveliscombe, consists of two stone memorial shields mounted within St Andrew's Church on either side of the chancel.
The memorial shields commemorate 53 men from Wiveliscombe who lost their lives in the First World War.

One soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.


Private Albert Victor Warren. 42526. 9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Formerly 183562 Royal Field Artillery. Son of James and Emily Warren, of The Anchor Inn, Church St., Wiveliscombe, Somerset. Killed 7 June 1917. Aged 20.
Born Cardiff, Enlisted Hilsea, Resided Wiveliscombe.
Commemorated on Panel 33, YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL.
