The First World War Roll of Honour in St. Paul's Church, Witton Par kis a paper Roll of Honour in a plain wood frame which is surmounted by a tall cross. A flower ledge is below. The names are listed in three columns. The lettering is hand written in Gothic script, with illuminated capitals in the title, and red initials to the names.
A transcription of the names on the Roll of Honour is provided on the Imperial War Museum's Register of War Memorials website.
68 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War.
1 soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on this memorial.
There is also a simple memorial in Witton Park Cemetery to those who lost their lives in the First World War.

Buried ST. SEVER CEMETERY, ROUEN.
(Although SDGW states that James William Henron was born in Whitton Park (Sunderland), the 1911 Census shows him as being born in Witton Park, Co. Durham - NOT Sunderland.)
