The War Memorial for Whickham (Tyne and Wear) is on Church Green, off Front Street (the B6317).

The memorial is in the form of a granite column mounted on a pedestal.

64 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War and 37 in the Second World War. The Lost Ancestors website has a transcription of all the names on the memorial.

One soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.

Born Whickham (Durham), Enlisted Gateshead, Resided Whickham.
