The Wallington War Memorial is a stone obelisk on a plinth and brick-edged step, with five plaques attached to faces of the plinth.

The memorial is located on a Greeen at the junction of Manor Road and Acre Lane in Wallington.
The dedication on the memorial is "To the glorious memory of the men of Beddington and Wallington who fell in the Great War".

274 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War. A transcript of the names is on the Imperial War Museum's Register of War Memorials website, as well as on the Surrey in the Great War website.

One soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.


Private George Mallinson. 46117. 12th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 188154 R E. Son of John and Sarah Ann Mallinson, of Hackbridge, Surrey. Killed 8 April 1918. Aged 31.
Born Hackbridge (Surrey), Enlisted Woolwich, Resided Hackbridge.
Buried MONT HUON MILITARY CEMETERY, LE TREPORT.
