The Church of St. Gregory in the Vale of Lune, Cumbria, is also known as Vale of Lune Chapel. This Anglican Church sits on the A684 about 1.5 miles west of Sedbergh. The church is still consecrated though not needed for services, and is maintained by the Churches Conservation Trust.

Inside the church is a private memorial to a soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment.

We are very grateful to Chris Foster of the Craven's Part in the Great War website for permission to use the above photograph.
