St. Andrew's Church is the parish church of Tudhoe Grange, and is located close to Spennymoor town centre. The church was built 1883-4 and is a Grade II listed building
The First World War Memorial is a light oak screen with traceried top, 36
inches high x 72 inches wide.There are five panels, the central panel being
12 inches higher than the four outer ones.
The central panel bears the dedication.
The other four bear the names in two columns on each, the lettering incised
and gilded, using elongated Roman capitals for the dedication and lower case
for the names.
140 names of those who lost their lives in the First World War are commmeorated
on the memorial.
