The St. Marychurch War Memorial is located on the outside perimeter wall of St Mary the Virgin Churchyard, Fore Street,
St Marychurch, Torquay.

The memorial is on a single-stepped rectangular base surmounted by a rectangular sectioned tapering plinth and rectangular sectioned, slightly tapering Latin cross. Incised inscription and names on smoothened front face of plinth in black text. Front face of step bears a landscape oriented, crossed rifle and sword design with a foliate background all in relief and flanked by the war duration years, also in relief.

99 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War.

1 soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.

Born Torquay (Devon), Enlisted South Molton, Resided Molland.
Buried BROOKWOOD MILITARY CEMETERY.
