The North East War Memorials Project website
has a faimily history of the Potts family. This provides a sobering account
of the high death rates of the young children of the family, and the obvious
poverty in which they lived. From this account, it would appear that George
Potts and his parents probably died of the influenza epidemic of 1919.)
