The War Memorial in the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Stratfield Mortimer (W Berks) is a board mounted brass plaque.

Born Mortimer (Berks), Enlisted Aldershot, Resided Wades Mill (Ware - Hertford).
Buried DAOURS COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION.
(On the above memorial, John Sibley is shown as a Lance Corporal. However, at the time of his death he was a Private soldier.)
