The War Memorial for Stony Stratford is located on Horsefair
Green where Calverton Road meets Silver Street.

The memorial is a Crosslet Cross on a battered pillar, surmounting two pedestals on a four-stepped base. There are name plaques on the 6 o'clock, and 12 o'clock faces of the two pedestals. There is a sword of sacrifice on the 6 o'clock face of the cross. The memorial is located in a garden.
91 names are commemorated for those who lost their lives in the First World War, and 18 for the Second World War. A transcription of these names can be found on the Imperial War Museum's Register of War Memorials website.
One soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on this memorial.
