Only one church, - St. Stephen's, in the Sneinton District of Nottingham, has an actual War Memorial. The memorials in the other four churches in the district have been lost.
In light of this, Nottinghamshire County council have compiled a Roll of Honour for casualties in the First World War based on information from obituaries in the local press and other sources for the four other churches in the district.
