The War Memorial outside the Church of St. Mary de Haura, Shoreham-by-Sea, commemorates 107 men who lost their lives in the First World War. The names of those commemorated are inscribed on the panels of the wall that flanks the memorial itself. A transcript of all the names, with brief biographies, is provided on the Roll of Honour website.

Inside the church itself is a brass plaque, which commemorates the names of the above men, bar 4.

One soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.

We are very grateful to Alan McFaden for allowing us to use his photo of this memorial.
