St. Saviour's Church, Walkley, was located in Whitehouse lane. The church was demolished in 1983.

The First World War Memorial Boards were relocated to St. Mary's Church, Walkley, where they are currently standing unattached to the walls.
132 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War.

Private John William Riley. 41787. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Formerly 185035 R F A. Son of the late George Riley and Harriet Rose (formerly Riley), of 17, Palm St., Walkley, Sheffield. Killed 10 October 1917. Aged 38.
Born Sheffield, Enlisted Sheffield, Resided Walkley.
Commemorated Panel 52 to 54 and 162A, TYNE COT MEMORIAL.
