The Parish Church, Wadsley, is in worral Street, Wadsley (Sheffield).

The First World War Memorial is a mosaic of ceramic tiles. There are four columns of names, two columns either side of a central gilt-painted cross. A gilt-painted cross is in the centre with a cross above. The design at the base encompasses a draped union jack flag and laurel wreath.

A transcription of the names of those commemorated on the First World War Memorial is on the Imperial war Museum's Register of War Memorials website.
56 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War.

2 soldiers who fought with the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the memorial.

We are most grateful to Wayne Bywater (<waynetyke123@aol.com) for photographing the memorial boards.
