St. Vincent's RC Church was originally on Solly Street, Crookes. The church building was demolished and a new church was built nearby on Pickmere Road.

The War Memorial, in the form of a Roll of Honour board, was transferred to the new building and is located in the entrance hall.

The memorial commemorates 245 men who lost their lives in the First World War. The commemorated names are hand-written in 5 columns.

2 soldiers who fought with the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the memorial.

We are most grateful to Wayne Bywater (<waynetyke123@aol.com) for photographing the memorial board.
