The War Memorial for Seaforth and waterloo (Merseyside) is located on Crosby Road North at the junction with Great Georges Road.

The memorial is a sculpture of Winged Victory holding a laurel wreath in right hand and a palm branch in left, standing on a small globe. It is surmounting a tall square pedestal standing on three stone steps. One of the pedestal faces has a regimental crest in high relief with a dedication and a list of names below. The other faces contains names. It is surrounded by three lamp posts, one with one lamp and the other two with two lamps (five lamps in total).

208 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War. A transcription of the names commemorated is on the Imperial War Museum's Register of War Memorisls website.

Private William O'Hare. 41678. 13th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 160643 R F A. Son of Maria O'Hare, of 20, Maple Grove, Seaforth, Liverpool, and the late William O'Hare. Killed 23 November 1917. Aged 26.
Born Seaforth, Enlisted Seaforth.
Commemorated on the CAMBRAI MEMORIAL, LOUVERVAL.
