The Rudston (East Yorks) War Memorial

The Rudston War Memorial is located beside the B1253 (Thwing Road) just before the junction with School Lane.
The memorial is simple stone cross surmounting a stone pedestal. The pedestal has a brass plaque which bears the dedication and commemorations. The whole rests on a four-stepped stone base.
11 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War..
1 soldier who served in the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.

the Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 26 April 1917.
Born Rudstone (Bridlington), Enlisted Bridlington, Resided Rudstone.
