The Quuensbury War Memorial

The Queensbury War Mmemorial is located at the junction of the High Street (A647) with Granby Street, Queensbury (Bradford).
The mmeorial is a tall octagonal Gothic plinth and shaft surmounted by a small Early English & Gothic cross. The plinth has arched traceried sides with foliated spandrels, framed by clustered collonnettes with foliated capitals. Behind isa concave wall with six tablets of names. The cross is sited in an enclosed position with hedges on two sides, adjacent to the names, and railings on two sides with an access gate.
116 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War and 51 in the Second World War.
2 soldiers who served in the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the Quuensbury War Memorial.
