The Pudsey War Memorial is a Cenotaph, located on Radcliffe Road on the site of an old Chapel of Ease. The structure is a square column surmounted by a bronze figure of a Tommy of the West Yorkshire Regiment. Names of the fallen are on four plaques near the base of the memorial.
333 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War. The website, Pudsey Cenotaph, lists all of the names together with biographical information. Additionally, this website also includes a section on "Missing Names", where research indicates an additional number of names to be added to the memorial. This research is on-going.
