The Pool-in-Wharfedale War Memorial is a Cenotaph located in Memorial Gardens next to St Wilfrid's Church.
The names of those who lost their lives in both World Wars are inscribed on bronze plaques. 19 names are commemorated on the upper plaque as having lost their lives in the First World War, and 9 names on the lower plaque as having lost their lives in the Second World War.
1 soldier who served in the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.

Regiment. Killed 28 September 1916.
Born Middlesbrough, Enlisted Darlington.
Buried in REGINA TRENCH CEMETERY, GRANDCOURT.
Frank Bradford's mother was Elizabeth Bradford. From the WW1 Pension Records
Cards and Ledgers, Mrs Elizbeth Bradford, mother, was living in Pool Bank,
Pool, near Leeds.
