The Pilning War Memorial is located in the centre of the village of Pilning, opposite the Cross Hands public house and at the junction of the B4055 (Cross Hands Road) and B4064 (Redwick Road).
The memorial is in the form of a wheel cross with the names of the 12 men who lost their lives in the First World War commemorated on the base of the memorial.
10 men who lost their lives in the Second World War are also commemorated on the memorial.

Corporal Gilbert James Collins. 235739. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 3175 Royal Glos Hussars. Son of Edwin and Marian Collins, of Redwick House, Pilning, Bristol. Killed 27 May 1918. Aged 31.
Born Pilning (Glos), Enlisted Bristol, Resided Pilning (Glos).
Commemorated on the SOISSONS MEMORIAL.
