The First World War Memorial in St. Pegas' Church, Peakirk, is a tiled tablet with a roundel at each corner containing
1. the Lion Rampant of Scotland, 2. the three Lions of England, 3. an Australian kangaroo and 4) a Maple leaf of Canada.

9 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War.
(Of interest is that Private soldiers are referred to as being "Private Gentleman" on the memorial.)

One soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.


2nd Lieutenant Francis William Alexander Faithfull. 3rd Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, formerly 11th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of the Rev. Robert Colquhoun Faithfull and Felicia Amy Faithfull, of Shrub House, Copford, Colchester. Late of Peakirk Rectory, Peterborough. Killed 3 July 1915. Aged 18.
Buried BARD COTTAGE CEMETERY.
