The Church Memorial Hall in Owlerton (Sheffield) was originally part of the Church of St. John the Baptist, Owlerton. However, in 2018 the building was sold to Christ Church, Walkley, and is now in use as a church.

Private Walter Wells, 7823. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of the late George and Betsy Wells; husband of Annie Elizabeth Hibberd (formerly Wells), of 597, Market St., Whitworth, Rochdale. Killed on 11 March 1915. Aged 35.
Born Sheffield, Enlisted Sheffield, Resided Owlerton.
