The Old Bolingbroke War Memorial is a stone cross on a three-stepped octagonal base. The memorial is located on a small green at the junction of Horncastle Hill and Hagnaby Road.
7 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War, and 2 in the Second World War.

One soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on this memorial.


Private David Shaw Johnson. 38444. 7th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 18/40761 Sherwood Foresters. Son of Fred and Emma Johnson, of Old Bolingbroke, Spilsby, Lincs. Killed 5 February 1917. Aged 35.
Born Old Bolingbroke (Lincs), Enlisted Spilsby.
Buried GROVE TOWN CEMETERY, MEAULTE.
