There are two War Memorials for Oakenshaw, - one in St. Andrew's Church and the other in Victoria Park. Both memorials carry the same names.
Photographs of the names commemorated on the Victoria Park memorial, and the St. Andrew's Church memorial, are shown on the South Bradford Local History Alliance website.

The Victoria Park memorial is located off Cleckheaton Road at the point where Cross Road joins.
The memorial is that of a figure of a soldier wearing cap and greatcoat with large pack, in mourning pose with head bowed and rifle reversed. The soldier is on a square plinth with cornice and four stepped base. The First World War commemorations (46) are on the sides of the plinth.
