Born Upper Thong (Holmforth, Yorks), Enlisted Huddersfield, Resided New Mill (Huddersfield).
Buried ST. PATRICK'S CEMETERY, LOOS.

Lance Corporal Walter Percival Bailey. 38205. 5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 24 April 1917.
Born Brockholes (Yorks), Enlisted Huddersfield, Resided Brockholes.
Commemorated on Bay 5, ARRAS MEMORIAL.

Private John Dunn. 15545. 10th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of George & Hannah Dunn. Died at home 1 October 1916. Aged 40.
Born Barnsley.
Buried NEW MILL (CHRIST CHURCH) CHURCHYARD EXTENSION.
(Additional information : Pension Record exists. Enlisted 10/11/1914. Discharged with diabetes on 23/2/1916. Previously served from 23/2/1900 with Yorks & Lancs. Regt )

Serjeant Harold Hampshire, 14610. 8th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. Eleanor Jane Hampshire, of 13, Sefton Rd., Morecambe, Lancs. Died 18 October 1917. Aged 30.
Born Liversedge (Yorks), Enlsited Dewsbury, Resided Liversedge.
Commemorated Panel 125 to 128, TYNE COT MEMORIAL.

Private Louis Woodhead. 38162. 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 5 November 1918.
Born New Mill (Yorks), Enlisted Huddersfield, Resided New Mill.
