The First World War Memorial in Middlesbrough's Police Station commemorates those member's of Middlesbrough's Constabulary who lost their lives in the war. Also shown are the names of those who served and returned. The memorial is located in the new Middlesbrough Police Station on Bridge Street West.

The memorial is a wooden board, with pedimented top containing a relief carved Middlesborough Coat of Arms. Immediately beneath are three brass plaques, bearing the names of the Constabulary's officers who served in the First World War.
T the central panel lists those members of the Constabulary who were killed or died. The two panels flankingthe central panel lists those who survived.
Beneath that section are three further brass plaques, re the erection of the memorial, and the names of the Chief Constable and Chairman of the Watch Committee. All six of the brass plaques have a single line red border; the incised lettering is black, apart from the dates 1914 and 1919 and any notations re decorations received (which are red).

11 names are shown as having lost their lives, with 71 having served and returned.

1 soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.

Lance Serjeant Frank Perks. 30012. 1st Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 25194 Yorkshire Regiment. Son of George and Marion Perks, of 36, West Terrace, North Ormesby; husband of Olive Perks, of 51, Bush St., Middlesbrough. Killed 16 April 1918. Aged 35.
Born Dudley (Staffs), Enlisted Middlesbrough.
