The War Memorial for Luton is located outside the Town Hall on the Town Square.

The memorial is a robed, winged female figure apparently representing Peace, with her right arm raised holding a palm frond and standing on a cenotaph with a four-stepped base. The names commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War are inscribed on the sides of the cenotaph. The names commemorated as having lost their lives in the Second World War are shown on plaques mounted on the base steps.

943 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War and 672 names in the Second World War.

6 soldiers who served with the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the Luton War Memorial.
