The War Memorial in All Saints' Church, Little Horton Green, is a wall-mounted bronze plaque. The commemorations are incised in five columns. The inscription above are in slightly raised lettering. There is a decorative border, with a relief on each side of a sword with intertwined leaves.
152 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War. A transcription of the names on the memorial is on the Imperial War Museum's Register of War Memorials website.
5 soldiers who served with the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the War Memorial.
Private Harry Hanson. 27129. 7th Battalion Yorkshire
Regiment. Killed 1 July 1916. Aged 21.
Born Bradford, Enlisted Bradford.
Commmeorated on the FRICOURT MEMORIAL.
Buried FRICOURT BRITISH CEMETERY.
(RichardRoberts, <richard.nsw@googlemail.com>, comments that in the
1911 Census Harry Hanson was living at 80 Holem Top Street Little Horton Bradford.
He was aged 16 at the time.)
Private Harry Hartley, 27524. 9th Battalion Yorkshire
Regiment. n: Son of Holmes Hartley, of 114, Arncliffe Terrace, Bradford; husband
of Lilian Hartley, of 962, Great Horton Rd., Bradford. Died 20 September 1917.
Aged 24.
Born Bradford, Enlisted Bradford.
Commemorated on Panels 52 to 54 and 162A, TYNE COT MEMORIAL.
Private Arthur Reynolds. 6998. 8th Battalion Yorkshire
Regiment. Son of John and Maria Reynolds. Killed 10 October 1916.
Born Bradford (Yorks), Enlisted Bradford.
Buried DERNANCOURT COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION.
(SDGW incorrectly puts date of death as 10 October 1918)
(In the 1911 Census an Arthur Reynolds, aged 28, living at 10 Ireton Street,
Bradford, is described as a "Railway Checher". He was married to
Mary Ellen Reynolds. The address was in the Horton district of Bradford.)
Private Fred Seymour. 3/5422. 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire
Regiment. Killed 15 June 1915.
Born Bradford, Enlisted Strenall (Yorks), Resided Bradford.
Commemorated on Panel 12, LE TOURET MEMORIAL.
(In the 1911 Census, Fred Symour, aged 28, was a "wool checker".
He was married to Mary Seymour, and lived at 98, Duncan Street. The address
was in the Horton district of Bradford.)
Corporal Ben Ward. 49882. 1st/8th Battalion The King's
(Liverpool Regiment), formerly 27367 the Yorkshire Regiment. Son
of Sarah Jane and the late James Ward; husband of Nellie Constance Ward, of
13, Portsmouth Avenue, Otley Rd., Bradford, Yorks. Killed 20 September 1917.
Aged 28.
Born Bradford (Yorks), Enlisted Bradford, Resided Bradford.

(In the 1901 Census, Ben Ward and his family were living at 8 Triangle Street,
Bradford. This was in the War / Municipal Borough of Little Horton.)
