The War Memorial in the C of E Primary School, Little Horton Green, is an Illuminated scroll framed in a wooden frame.
The commemorated names are in three columns. A coloured border surrounds the names and inscription. The memorial bears the dates "1914" and "1919". A female angel figure at the top centre is with a large yellow nimbus. Coloured leaves are around the border. Art-deco female figures at base corners. Royal standard at base centre.

78 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War.

One soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the War Memorial.


Private Arthur Chilton. 57275. 12th Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment, formerly 26032 the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Alexander Law and Mary Ann Chilton, of 207, Great Horton Rd., Bradford, Yorks. Killed 8 November 1918.Aged 23.
Born Bradford (Yorks), Enlisted Shipley (Yorks), Resided Bradford (Yorks).
Buried HERINNES COMMUNAL CEMETERY.
