The War Memorial for Leven (East Yorkshire) stands in the churchyard of Holy Trinity, South Street, Leven.
18 names are commemorated on the memorial as having lost their lives in the First World War, and 4 names from the Second World War. A transcription of the dedication on the memorial, and the above names, has been made by Andrew Dolman and can be found on the GENUKI website.
3 soldiers who served with the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on this memorial.
Additionally, inside Holy Trinity Church is a Roll of Honour. Andrew Dolman has kindly allowed us to use his photo of this Roll of Honour, which commemorates not only those who lost their lives in the First World War, but also those who served. 1916.

In the 1911 Census was living in Leven with his parents Charles Henry and
Lucy Ann Appleby. He was born in 1897 in East Mersea, Essex. in Q3 1897. Therefore,
aged ca 19 when killed.)

Son of Amos and Annie S. Maddison, of Waterloo Farm, Leven, Hull. Killed 26
September 1916. Aged 20.
Born Catterick, Enlisted Beverley, Resided Leven Carr (Near Beverley).
Buried CATERPILLAR VALLEY CEMETERY.
Serjeant John William Panton. 240635. 5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment.
Son of Mr. W. Panton, of West St., Leven, Hull. Killed 27 March 1918. Aged
24.
Born Catwick (Leven Beverley), Enlisted Beverley, Resided Leven.
