The War Memorial in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Charles Borromeo in Hull, consists of three panels. The central panel is a gilded image of Our Lady and the infant Jesus, whilst the two outer panels commemorate those who lost their lives in the First World War (left hand panel) and Second World War (right hand panel).
168 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War, and 42 in the Second World War.
At least 4 soldiers who served in the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the memorial. It is possible that there are two other names who also served in the Yorkshire Regiment and who are named on this memorial (T Brannan and J Priestley).
