Relocated to the Streetlife Museum, Hull High Street, is the First World War Memorial for the Hull and Barnsley Railway Company. The memorial is a bronze plaque with the coat of arms of the Railway Company at the top, and commemorates 178 employees of the company who lost their lives in the war. Below this plaque is a smaller plaque commemorating 6 additional names.

Private George Edward Boynton. 2780. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of James W. and Jane Boynton, of Park House, Leconfield, Beverley, Yorks. Native of Rotsea, Cranswick, Yorks. Killed 22 July 1916. Aged 23.
Enlisted Driffield, Resided Beverley.
Buried BAILLEUL COMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, NORD.
(Worked in the "Superintendent of Lines Department" of the Hull & Barnsley Railway Company.)

Private Alfred Ernest Fussey. 35907. 9th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 55603 East Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Robert and Fanny Fussey, of 8, Carlisle Avenue, Albemarle St., Hull. Killed 24 October 1918. Aged 22.
Born Hull, Enlisted Hull.
Buried POMMEREUIL BRITISH CEMETERY.
(Worked in the "Goods Department" of the Hull & Barnsley Railway Company.)
