The First World War Memorial in St. Peter's Church, Huddersfield

St. Peter's Church, Huddersfield is the parish church for the town of Huddersfield, and is located in Kirkgate.

The First World War Memorial in the church is a Stained Glass Window and Baldachino (Altar canopy). The Baldachino is set on four large Tuscan pillars. There is a dedicatory slate tablet set in a marble frame.

Private Frank Beevers, 42618. 8th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Formerly 29/572 Northumberland Fusiliers. Son of Alfred and Mary Beevers, of 16, Great Northern St., Huddersfield. Killed 7 October 1917. Aged 31.
