The Gilberdyke War Memorial is situated on the Gilberdyke Memorial Hall, 11 Clementhorpe Road, Gilberdyke.

The memorial is a Framed and glazed rectangular board with names in six columns in white lettering.

12 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War, and 152 as having served and returned.

However, a Yorkshire Regiment soldier from Gilberdyke who lost his life in the war is shown amongst those as having served and returned. A man with the same surname but different initials is shown amongst those who lost their lives (however, although other soldiers who died are shown with their regiments this latter soldier has no regiment).

Born Rawcliffe Bridge (Yorks), Enlisted Hull, Resided Gilberdyke (East Yorks).
Commemorated on Pier and Face 3A & 3D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
