The Dragon School is one school on two sites in Oxford, England. - The Prep School (children aged 8–13) and Dragon Pre-Prep School (ages 4–7). Both schools are now co-educational. The Dragon Prep School was founded in 1877 as the Oxford Preparatory School. The school takes day pupils and boarders.
The school has two War Memorials. The main memorial is located
beside the cricket pavilion and is a Celtic cross set on a plinth and two
stepped base. The dedication and commemorations are carved on the cross and
plinth in back lettering with roman capitals. 83 names are commemorated as
having lost their lives in the First World War and 131 in the Second World
War.
A brass plaque inside the school buildings also commemorates the above names.

One Officer of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.
Lieutenant John Selby Pratt. Mentioned in Despatches. 10th Battalion
Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Charles and Sidney Pratt, of "Marley House,"
Haslemere, Surrey. Died 11 April 1917. Aged 19.
Buried WANCOURT BRITISH CEMETERY.
