The Daventry War Memorial is on a raised roadside platform beside Abbey Street (B4036) in Daventry.
The memorial is on an octagonal four-stepped stone base surmounted by a tapering plinth with projecting inscription panels, a tapering shaft and cross with sword in relief on front face. An additional metal inscription plaque is attached to a sloping-faced stone tablet standing on second base step. The whole memorial is set on a raised platform in front of a low wall.
114 men who lost their lives in the First World War are commemorated on this memorial, together with 31 men from the Second World War.
Two soldiers who served with the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on this memorial.
