The D90 West Building on the Boots site in Beeston, near Nottingham is a Grade ll* Listed building completed in 1968. It is the company’s headquarters and is one of a number of architecturally fine listed buildings on the site. This one was designed by the Chicago firm of Skidmore Owings & Merrill (SOM) in association with the London firm of Yorke Rosenberg Mardall. This extremely influential open-plan design building led the way for the subsequent development of 'high-tech' steel office buildings in the UK.
in 1990 a company museum was opened in the building, but is now closed. Historical items, such as the First World War Roll of Honour, are in storage or on display in the reception area of the D90 building.
