The First World War Memorial in St. Andrew's Church, Bolton-upon-Dearne, is a simple rectangular brass plaque

60 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War.

2 soldiers who served in the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the memorial.

Lance Corporal Harry Harris, 24673. 13th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of George and Esther Harris, of 25, Station Rd., Bolton-on-Dearne, Rotherham. Killed 2 June 1917. Aged 21.
Born West Melton, Enlisted Doncaster, Resided Bolton-on-Dearne (Near Rotherham).
Buried FINS NEW BRITISH CEMETERY, SOREL-LE-GRAND.

Lance Serjeant Thomas Kay, 24675. 13th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 7 December 1917.
Born Elsecar (Yorks), Enlisted Doncaster, Resided Bolton-on-Dearne (Nr. Rotherham).
Burried ANNEUX BRITISH CEMETERY.
