The First World War Memorial for Boldon Colliery is a carved stone tablet, commemorating 187 names of workmen from Boldon Colliery who lost their lives in the war.

The dedication on it reads "Erected by the Workmen of Boldon Colliery in Honour of the Memory of those who made the Supreme Sacrifice in the Great War 1914 - 19".
The memorial was orinally located in the Miners' Hall, but is now ocated in the Boldon Colliery British Legion premises in North Road. The Miners' hall was demolished to make way for housing.
