The War Memorial for Barroway Drove

The Barroway Drove War Memorial is located in the Barroway Drove Village Hall.
The memorial is a brass plaque with the names of 15 of those who lost their lives in the First World War, and 11 names of aircrew who lost their lives in nearby crashes in the Second World War.
The memorial was unveiled in November 2018, and the story of this memorial is told on the Roll of Honour website.
1 of the names commemorated is that of a soldier who served in the Yorkshire Regiment.

Regiment. Formerly 35210, 9th T R Battalion. Died 11 April 1918.
Born West Head (Downham Market, Norfolk), Enlisted Attleborough, Resided West
Head.
