The Church of St. Peter, Abbeydale (Sheffield) was demolished in 2003. The congregations of that church then joined with the congregation of St. Oswald's, Abbeydale, in 2004.
The First World War Roll of Honour and War Memorial that had been in St. Peter's Church were then moved to a side chapel in St. Oswald's.

The Roll of Honour is in three panels, with five columns of names in total. The Roll of Honour lists those who served and a limited number of those who lost their lives are indicated.

Then adjacent War Memorial lists 105 names, alphabetically by surname, of those who lost their lies. The associated regiments are shown.

Private Hayden Rutter Glave Siddall, 11282. 9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Sam Glave Siddall, of 34, Rundle Rd., Sharrow, Sheffield. Killed 20 September 1916. Aged 23.
Born Heeley (Sheffield), Enlisted Sheffield.
Commemorated on Pier and Face 3A & 3D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
