Rifleman James Kelly. 40635. 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Rifles, formerly 17729 the Yorkshire Regiment. Foster son of Jack and Mary Ann Dalton, of 10, Cargo Fleet Rd., Middlesbrough. Killed 10 June 1917. Aged 25.
Born Gildersome (Yorks), Enlisted Middlesbrough, Resided Halifax (Yorks).
Commemorated Panel 40, YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL.

Private Joseph Kew. 9928. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William and Mary E. Kew, of 82, Campbell St., Hebburn New Town, Co. Durham. Killed 22 October 1914. Aged 20.
Born Hebburn (Durham), Enlisted York, Resided Hebburn New Town.

2nd Lieutenant Philip Chabert Kidd. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 30 October 1914.

Serjeant Harry Kinchin. 6. 4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of J. J. Kinchin, of 11, Castle Hill, Richmond. Husband of Priscilla Stevenson (formerly Kinchin), of 48, Bargate, Richmond, Yorks. Killed 25 April 1915. Aged 34.
Born Richmond (Yorks), Enlisted Richmond.

Colonel Charles Arthur Cecil King. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of James and R. Maria King; husband of Adela Margaret King, of 33, Evelyn Gardens, South Kensington, London. Served in the Sudan, Burmese, and the South African Campaigns (Brevet Maj., Twice Mentioned in Despatches). Killed 30 October 1914. Aged 51.
(Commanded the 2nd Battalion at the time).

Lance Corporal Horace John King. 9311. 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Arthur King, of 59, Ingram Rd., Thornton Heath, Surrey, and the late Eliza Ann King. Educated at Royal Hibernian Military School, Dublin. Killed 4 November 1914. Aged 19.
Born Harwich (Ipswich, Suffolk), Enlisted Dublin, Resided West Norwood (Surrey).

Private John Kirk. 28143. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 14 August 1917.
Born Brignall (Yorks), Enlisted Barnard Castle, Resided Greta Bridge (Barnard Castle).

Serjeant James Lewis Kitchen. 8068. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Emily Kitchen, of Barkestone, Bottesfold, Notts, and the late John Kitchen. Killed 2 November 1914. Aged 27.
Born Grantham, Enlisted Richmond, Resided Nottingham.

Private Matthew Knaggs, 23134. 8th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of John and Mary Jane Knaggs, of 16, Henrietta St., Whitby, Yorks. Killed 7 June 1917. Aged 26.
Born Whitby, Enlisted Whitby.

Lieutenant Frederic William Knott. 9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Herbert and Ada S. W. Knott, of "Sunny Bank," Wilmslow, Manchester. Killed 7 June 1917. Aged 25.

Private Frederick Knowles. 7859. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed between 22 October 1914 and 6 November 1914.
Born Sheffield, Enlisted Scarborough, Resided Walkley (Sheffield).
