The War Memorial for Wolviston, located on the Village Green.

The War Memorial for Wolviston is in the form of a cross, standing on an octagonal base. Three of the sides of this base record the names of those who gave their lives in the First World War. Opposite the three faces carrying these names is a single face with the names of those who died in the Second World War.

Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Adams, of Stockton-on-Tees, Co. Durham.
Killed 30 August 1915. Aged 19.
Born Stockton, Enlisted Richmond (Yorks), Resided Stockton.
Buried BETHUNE TOWN CEMETERY.
Private Edmund Davison. 25145. 5th Battalion Yorkshire
Regiment. Killed 28 October 1917.
Born Wolviston (Durham), Enlisted Stockton-on-Tees.
Buried ARTILLERY WOOD CEMETERY.
Private George Stockburn Middleton. 25142. 4th Battalion
Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 15 May 1918.
Born Newton Bewley (Durham), Enlisted Stockton-on-Tees, Resided Newton Bewley.
Buried ANZAC CEMETERY, SAILLY-SUR-LA-LYS.
Private Walter Wigley. 27916. Machine Gun Corps, formerly
25016 Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 22 September 1918.
Born Attercliffe (Yorks), Enlisted Middlesbrough.
