The Cenotaph War Memorial in Swansea is located on the Esplanade, Mumbles Road, Swansea, Wales. The Cenotaph was unveiled in 1923 and the memorial is based on Edwin Lutyens’ The Cenotaph, Whitehall in London.

The names of those who lost their lives in the two World Wars, and subsequent conflicts, are commemorated on bronze panels arranged round the base of the Cenotaph in an octagonal precinct with four entrance ways.
2274 names are commemorated for the First World War, and 400 for the Second World War.
The names are arranged alphabetically, and are listed under the various regiments or branches of the armed services in which they served.

9 soldiers who served in the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated at the Swansea Cenotaph.
