Private James Palmer. 11240. 7th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Husband of Mrs. E. McSorbey (formerly Palmer), of 57, Mid Napier St., South Bank, Yorks. Died at home 22 December 1914. Aged 28.
Born South Bank (Yorks), Enlisted Middlesbrough, Resided South Bank.
Buried WAREHAM CEMETERY.

Private Frederick Lippert Poole. 3/7856. 10th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Edwin and Annie Eliza Poole, of 71, Pym St., South Bank, Yorks. Killed 17 July 1916. Aged 21.
Born South Bank (Yorks), Enlisted Middlesbrough, Resided South Bank.

Lance Corporal Edmund George Prentice, MM. 38516. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Ernest Edmund Robert and Margaret Robinson Prentice, of 92, Redcar Rd., South Bank, Yorks. Killed 6 May 1918. Aged 20.
Born Hartlepool, Enlisted South Bank.
Commemorated Panel 52 to 54 and 162A, Tyne Cot Memorial.

Private Albert Pumford. 10780. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Died at home 23 June 1916.
Born Wolverhampton, Enlisted Middlesbrough, Resided Newport (Mon).
