Born Whitby (Yorks), Enlisted Middlesbrough.
Buried PERTH CEMETERY (CHINA WALL).

Private John Henry Bailes, 12064. 8th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 11 July 1916.
Born South Bank (Yorks), Enlisted South Bank.
Commemorated Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, Thiepval Memorial.

Corporal Frederick Benton. 11930. Yorkshire Regiment (Depot). Husband of Emily Benton, of 26, Low Milbank St., South Bank, Yorks.
Died 27 July 1918. Aged 30.
Buried ESTON CEMETERY.
Frederick Benton's Pension Record exists. He enlisted in September 1914 and served with the 9th Battalion in France. He was wounded in 1917, - Gun Shot Wound to the left forearm. This could not be repaired and he was transferred to the Depot. He was discharged as being no longer fit for War Service on 7 February 1918.

Private Ernest Binns, 41866. 2nd Battalion King's Own (Yorkshire Light Infantry), formerly 22899 Yorkshire Regiment. Died 20 November 1918.
Enlisted Middlesbrough.
Buried CAUDRY BRITISH CEMETERY.

Private John Simpson Blackett, 30698. 1st Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 45466 Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 16 April 1918.

Private George Yates Blakeman, 3/9263. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Harriet Blakeman, of 47, Upleatham Rd., Saltburn, and the late George Blakeman; husband of Annie Blakeman, of 55, Middle Oxford St., South Bank, Yorks. Killed 15 June 1915. Aged 40.
Born Middlesbrough, Enlisted Middlesbrough.
