2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 161814 RFA. Son of Fred. Newman, of 11, Pretoria Terrace, Alstone, Cheltenham. Killed 29 September 1918. Aged 21.
Enlisted Cheltenham, Resided Alston.
Buried DUISANS BRITISH CEMETERY, ETRUN.
